Page Title Writing Strategies

Google consider maximum 70 character page title including spaces and other elements.

As more than 80% traffic is driven by Google, several sites are optimized with more than 70 character targeting Yahoo, MSN and other search engines which lowers keywords density.

So, write your page title for 60 - 70 character for best result in Google.

Most important tag is title tag, it is more helps to your ranking. you can use 65 character for tittle tag.

I think google consider 65 to 70 character in Title tag.
So,use 65 to 70 character in your <title> tag.

Just write what best describe your site, don't stuff too many keywords on it.

It's not evident that Page Title is so important for SEO.

It is important, just like you... what would people will call you when you don't have any name? Just like in the internet, Title tag could be considered your site/page name.

Title tags are important cause this serves as how SE's will going to put your site in their indexed...this also help...on how you will target your keywords/phrases in order to rank on SERP....this must be relevant to what the page is about or must reflect to what the content is about,,,

it's not all about the title that matters..it do help but not as a whole...

In addition, Put your targeted keywords near the starting point of your title.

The title tag in my opinion is the first and most over looked thing.

I've seen far too many websites that are simply "Company Name" or

"Title Page"

If there is one thing you could optimize first and foremost it SHOULD be the title tag.

Not only short title also need to be attractive to click on it.. in SERP title and description showing and oif not attractive nobody will click if get good position too
