Google Adwords
What are your opinions as to which e-books have the best information about how to run an effective adwords campaign?

I have never read such ebook and IMHO I can run Adwords campaigns well.
I would concentrate on forums instead of ebooks. Ebook represent opinion and experience of one person. In the forums are opinions and experiences of many people.

Re: Google Adwords
My brother-in-law got a good book "Adwords for Dummies" that taught him how to use it and it also gave him a $25 credit for adwords. The book only cost him $25 so you may want to start there. You are probably going to spend that money anyway. It should be available in most local bookstores.tordon wrote:What are your opinions as to which e-books have the best information about how to run an effective adwords campaign?

Trial, error, Trial error, Trial error, some success, Trail hmmm, Trial some hits, Trail more hits.
I would say the mistake I made first was I forgot that on the starter edition for google adwords you better set you budget for the cpc as well as the monthly. I missed the cpc and had 7 clicks that cost 8 dollars in the first 4 hours. Woops.
Remember you are optimizing your advertizing for the most potential exposure per keyword.
Look at https://adwords.google.com/select/KeywordToolExternal
Once you select a word click the colums to display and select all. You will get a pretty good idea of which keywords that work for .05 a click and up.
The click has to be worth the cost. If you sell something worth 1000 and get 20 dollars worth of clicks the cost is justified.
Take your time, ask lots of questions here. Lots of people helped me here and things are taking off quickly.

AdWords offers pay-per-click (PPC) advertising, and site-targeted advertising for both text and banner ads.
The AdWords program includes local, national, and international distribution. Google's text advertisements are short, consisting of one title line and two content text lines.
The ordering of the paid-for listings depends on other advertisers' bids (PPC) and the quality score of all ads shown for a given search.

Re: Google Adwords
Google Ads, AKA Google AdWords,,is Google's advertising system in which advertisers bid on certain keywords in order for their clickable ads to appear in Google's search results. Since advertisers have to pay for these clicks, this is how Google makes money from search.
