Traffic from search engines is old now.. now you can lots of traffic from different social networks.. like i do.. every day i got lots of traffic from different social network for example bebo.com

getting traffic is OK,but there will always be a nofollow on the links in any major community sites...And also I found that traffic coming from social communities are knowledgeable enough and they do not click on ads.Noy even 1 for every 50 visits

Yes, traffic from such gives low conversion rate, still search engine traffic gives the best traffic imo.

Social networking might increase traffic. But it is like someone who flips channels on the TV. They don't stay long.
