Use directory submission, social bookmarking, do follow blog commenting,

and you will have enough links.

You can try the any of the basic link building techniques. Many of them have already been mentioned. You can also include links in your forum signatures.

Link building is not easy task, time consuming and nedd much effort.. Joing in many forums, article site, submit to directories, ask for link exchange etc

Building links is the hardest part of SEO.

You need to learn different techniques just to earn links. For me, blog posting is the most effective in all of the strategies.

If you want to gain your backlinks, do the off page optimization. But getting links means earning your QUALITY links. It doesn't matter about the quantity but instead the quality. And link building is continues process.

I agree! quality backlinks are more important than on quantity. Create back links on PR sites and more importantly, related to your niche. Link exchange and blog comments are also effective link building technique

SEO is a long term job. If you want results you must promote your site today and expect to real results after few months...

Anyway, blog commenting, forum signatures and 3-way link exchange will boost your site in SERPs.

SEO is a very long term process and thats quite true. You can do link building for your site : article submission, forum posting, blog commenting etc.
