Directory submit not worthwhile?

There's a lot of directories over the net and you really have to take time to look for the good ones. Once you gather quality links, the rest of what you are aiming for will follow. Just be patient

If you will submitted in exact category, it always worthwhile.

submitting your site to some directories is one of the best strategy that make website link popular and might get top ranking in search engine result pages.But you can't expect too much traffic from this, maybe just a little bit contribution to sites placement in SE.

You should target keywords relevant to your site..& you should submit your site to good directories which gives you quality links..

& Wait for google indexing...

Sports category is still relevant to table tennis. No problem. Submitting your site to directory really help on ranking.

you can submit your site in Recreation and Sports Category.
and with your targeted key words.

i am sure directory submission helps you lot more then other off page Tactics.
but submit your site in PR 3 or OR PR3+ directory only
which has come Good no of Alexa Rank. below 99k.
if you wants to choose Paid directory for that don't worry go for it.
and if not wants to go with paid directory then there are number free directory available as well which has PR 3 OR PR3+
but approval tack a long time in that but it's worth your all effort.
Directory like seofriendlydirectory4u.com, v7n.com, vmoptions.com, Botw.com, aviva.com, Yahoodir, Dmoz.org it's are quality directory but only seofriendlydirectory4u.com and Dmoz.org this two are free in that directory both will tack time for Approval of your sites.

but Google highly Appreciate this quality directories. and gets you backlinks in google as well also improved your SERPS.

Use other ways of gaining backlinks then submit your link to quality web directories. Quality will always benefit you more than quantity.

There are a whole gamut of sports directories out there several with high rankings, further these directories do have an option of accepting suggestions when the specific niche is not defined in their categories, in your case - Table Tennis.

Further if you could check on high ranking site in ALexa for websites dedicated to this sport and then check the sites linking to them you could then make some serious progress.

Further submitting randomly to all directories is not going to be of much help if the intent is on getting visitors to buy products from your site. You should try google adsense - ppc with a small budget to start with and measure the progress you are getting before commiting to a higher budget. This way you can target the visitors with buyers keywords who are interested in buying products. Be sure to utilise long tail keywords depicting the brand, model no, addnl in your keywords to filter/segregate potential buyers from information seekers. Again long tail keywords are less competitive and have less cpc compared to generic keywords.
