It's a natural thing. Google ranking fluctuates once in a while. What you must do is continue on building quality links for your site. That's the only way to maintain your position.

get more one way links and avoid link farms and take out links in your site that are not from good sites.

Persistent likbuilding is the only key to achieve a stable google ranking. Avoid linking with bad sites and doing black hat tactics, so your site won't get penalized.

Its usual thing for google about fluctuating result. All you have to do is keep building quality links to your site.

This could be probably because of the two reasons:
a) Either your site have been penalised by Google, to check this you can check if your sites pages are still indexed or not.

b) Or, your competitors might have been working harder than you. So study your competitors sites and find out what good are they good.

Overall, try to build good quality and relevant backlinks from as many sources as possible. Backlinks are an important source for search engine ranking.

All the best...........

The same with me. If you will not maintain your website, its possible that your PR will go down. Backlinking and link exchanging are good strategies to maintain and lift up your PR, if that helps.

rayter was right, it's normal to a site that fluctuates, just continue to link build your site and it will comeback.
