Any directories you would NOT recommend?

Just curious, have you had any bad experiences with directories, or have you ever paid for a submission with a directory that never provided you with a backlink?

I wouldn't recommend submitting your site to Dmoz. The approval time takes forever. You can find many web directories here: www.vmoptions.com/directory-list.php

Yah. Sometimes when i so submit my site in directories after a day they eventually decline it. I'd pick the right category but it does not approve it. Now, what i did what was, I just pick some of the free directories with High PR though.
