Black Hat SEO???

Post by sam09 »

Black Hat search engine optimization is defined as unethical techniques that are used to get higher search rankings.

It is not recommended but I am finding people are doing it and being said that it is effective for short term. People use black hat tactics to get instant ranking and traffic for particular time period which is the best for their business. For example people are selling such products which are in demand at the time of Christmas so they might use black hat to get high ranking and traffic for short term to get benefit of Christmas days.

What is your opinion about it?

Hi,

My piece of advice is that If you're looking to keep the site up for a month or less, go for it. However, if you want to be indexed good forever, white hat is the only way to consider.

Finding many sites top in SERP with black hat.. But if after some months its vanishing.. so once Google cache it .. the site will be dis appeared from SERP and again coming back is very difficult

Black Hat SEO is a temporary solution. Search Engine Algorithms are very powerful and they can find Black Hat promotions like keyword stuffing etc, and once it happens the site which's been used black hat will be penalized and some times will be banned for life time also. So white hat techniques are the best way to promoting our sites for long so ever.

Black hat seo can generate temporary success but for the long run it is extremely bad. Further, Google is smart enough to hunt you down because it is trying to improve its algo. So it will be better for you to practice only white hat SEO if you want to get benefit for long term.

I always prefer following White hat methods. Because ethical way of getting the rankings is more permanent and black cat techniques can only provide temporary rankings. Further using black hat technique will lead to penalization by search engines. So optimizing a site in an ethical way is always advisable.

1. Keywords Stuffing
2. Cloaking
3. Doorway Pages
4. Link Farming
5. Page Hijacking
6. Mirror Websites
7. Buying Expired Domains
8. Selling Page Rank

They are all black hat SEO

Black hat SEO is a total no no. I would never do tactics like that. I don't wanna get penalized.

True! The benefits of black hat SEO are just temporary. Nothing beats the ethical ways of doing it.

If you don't want to get kicked out of the search engines then you should stick with long term SEO strategies...

I advice that you stick to white hat SEO techniques on your money sites

I have stuck to white hat SEO with my websites and have several Number one positions and first page above the fold positions on search engine results pages.

I even rank for search terms i was not targeting.

I have however learned all I can about black hat because to be successful in this business, you really need to keep an eye on what your competitors are doing.
