If you are pertaining to Google Caffeine, it is still in process of being better and more reliable than existing. Google welcomes feedback from the webmasters and there is no guarantee that this will be the best among others.

why do they need to compete against microsoft..?

in the first place google is already a search engine, so this seems to be the dumbest information I've seen.

Guys Google Caffeine is not a new Search Engine it is only an upgrade of Google itself in order to improve the search results which will mainly include the speed, accuracy, size, and comprehensiveness of Google search.

Yes google has recently launched its search engine called google chrome version 3,which is good in many ways.

Google chrome is not a search engine. It is a browser like firefox or IE. And It’s faster, supports HTML5, and still does not run on the Mac OS.

The new chrome browser is a lot faster but there are still a few bugs, is it still in beta?
