How do I build a more effective keyword list ?

I mostly use google keyword tool to search for keywords with trends and then verify the traffic with keyword activity tool.
I usually verify the keyword activity to confirm that keywords I have on the list have daily searches equivalent.

I just started experimenting with Site Build It. They have a tool for brainstoriming keywords along with video guide on how to use it. I found that to be the best keyword research tool so far.

But keep in mind that your Website should have good and unique conten for your targeted keywords.

I think you are quite right but to get good list of keyword we can also use "Keyword researching" tool.

To make better keyword list you need to use a keyword research tool. Try to make a list from it.

In keyword selection, looking into the level of competition is also important, besides knowing the keyword's search volume.

yes, always think of the users and target clients. Make a website that created for users and not for search engines. Make user and search engine friendly.

which tool??? by the way ??? i think all tool show past result not present result about what people are searching on internet

Take a view of minimum 20-30 people from your Company or locality on "What keywords they will use if they were looking for the products and services which your site offers?"

Note it down, select the most common, most hot phrase or word as your keyword used to search the products and services offered by your site.

use google adward tool to check that which keywords are being Research now a days, And then see what keywords are best for your site , then make sure that those keywords are Present in your site and page titles
